POSITION SCOPE

 

Our Client is a leading provider of professional services to the resources & energy sectors and complex process industries.  Our Client has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer to review and approve welding procedures, welding procedure qualification reports and weld maps from suppliers of equipment, piping, and structures for oil/gas and power projects per applicable codes and standards.  Provides fabrication and welding engineering technical expertise, act and serve as proactive technical expert for welding materials engineering area of expertise.

 

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

 

Minimum B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy Science/Engineering (or related field) from an accredited university and  25-28 years of directly related engineering work experience.  In addition, an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certified and valid Professional Engineering (PE) registration is required.
